Hello, I’m Simone
I believe therapy works best when it's grounded in understanding - not just what brings you here, but who you are, how you've survived, and what you need to feel safe enough to change.
I’ve supported adults with emotional and relational difficulties for over 20 years, working with warmth, compassion, and a trauma-informed perspective.
Since 2005, I’ve worked across NHS services, voluntary organisations, and private practice. I established my own practice in 2009 and now work exclusively with adults navigating a wide range of challenges.
I work integratively, drawing on:
- Attachment and Polyvagal Theory
- Internal Family Systems
- CBT (with heart)
- Mindfulness-based approaches
- Psychoeducation
- Relational Transactional Analysis
- Schema Therapy
This means therapy is shaped around your needs, your nervous system, and the way you naturally think, feel, and process.
Outside of work, I recharge through walking in the Malvern Hills, gardening, yoga, mindfulness, and getting lost in audiobooks.
Working with neurodivergent adults
I've specialist training in neurodivergent-affirming therapy and work with autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD adults. My understanding is grounded in:
- professional training
- years of clinical practice
- neurodivergence within my own family
- my own lived experience as a late-diagnosed neurodivergent person
This shapes not only what I know, but how I understand, feel, and relate to the experience of navigating a world that isn’t designed with you in mind.
